AADE Exhibition Largest Ever in 34-year history!

The American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) exhibition set records in both net square footage and number of exhibitors at its recently concluded event in St. Louis, MO. The 34^th annual meeting and exhibition drew 273 exhibitors and was the 12th year in a row that the number of exhibiting companies surpassed the previous year's total. The new square foot mark of 91,500 sq.ft. is a 7.14% increase over the previous year's show held in Los Angeles. AADE is attended by registered nurses, dietitians, pharmacists and other health professionals who are on the front lines helping patients manage their diabetes. The number of health professionals attending the event in St. Louis was a close second to the all-time record number of diabetes educators that visited the 2005 show in Washington, DC; site of AADE 2008. With the anticipation of returning to DC, exhibitors have already booked 10% more space than they did at the 2007 show.
