SC|05 Features Record-Breaking Exhibition. More space reserved by exhibitors than ever before

SC|05 had more exhibitors utilizing more space than ever before when 250 exhibitors reserved more then 100,000 square feet for the exhibition. SC|05 was held at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle.

"It's a reflection that the industry is recognizing that we are the conference for high-performance computing," said Exhibits Chair, Becky Verastegui of Oak Ridge National Laboratory. After selling out the exhibit halls, Hall-Erickson began selling exhibit space in the ballroom adding another 12,000 square feet of exhibit space on the upper level of the convention center.

Microsoft Chairman and Chief Software Architect Bill Gates, one of the most pivotal figures in computing history, delivered an inspiring keynote address at the SC|05 Conference in Seattle.
